What is meant by a leap of faith?
When you are moving forward and you get to a space in the trail, or a gap, you either stop and go back, or you leap and keep moving.
We do this all the time when we are making friendships - we find gaps, or things we don't like but we know their friendship is greater than their gaps and we make the leap.
We do it when choosing a spouse. With eyes wide open we see gaps. And we need to decide to either back away, or jump ahead.
We do it when we study church history
○ Golden plates
○ Angels
○ Polygamy
○ Blacks and Priesthood
○ Old leaders
We do it when we start a new hobby or developing a new talent.
We do it when we take a new job.
We do it when we pray.
Gaps can be overcome with belief, with courage, and with desire to keep moving ahead. We call this combination of attributes - Faith.
Examples of Jumps
Metaphors of Examples of jumps

Gospel is filled with gaps which we must leap over.
