Imagine a lovely evening. Your spouse has prepared a lovely evening together. Kids are in bed. Candlelight dinner is glowing. Your favorite meal is prepared. You engage in some fun, playful dialog and you are having the time of your life. Just as romance is beginning to grow. You can hear your 3 year old child in his bed throwing up. Suddenly the fantasy must stop – because something real has stepped in to take over. Imagine you’re at Disneyland. You’ve taken the family there to have a lifelong memory. As you enter the gates, you steer the kids over to meet Mickey…the illusion is building. Then you work your way back to the fun Brer Rabbit ride. You tell your 5 year old that there is nothing to be afraid of. Everything is fun…you build the anticipation. Then you go on the ride. She is terrified of the drop at the end at the ride with the splash of water. Her fear is now very real, and she knows she can’t trust you, so she is afraid to go on any other ride the whole day. The illusion is shattered by a very real fear.Women are more real then men are. Men like to dream of action, explosions, science fiction, magic tricks. Women generally like to ‘get real’. They want to cut to the chase, and get done what needs to get done.People who are real – are less likely to be taken in by the ‘tricks’ of Satan.
